Just a few more pics from yesterday. We have a million pictures that we are still sorting through, so we will try our best to keep them up to date.

Jackson is coming along good, he learned how to eat today (actually late last night), which we didn't even know he had to learn, but he is doing great. He was pretty alert from the get go, but it amazing to see him each day watching things more and more intently. Kim is coming along really well today also; she has been up and about without any help pretty much most of the day. We are looking forward to tomorrow, going home and getting back to routine (ha, yeah right). That is all for now, so enjoy the pics.

Getting to Meet Jackson

Us arriving to the hospital.

Jackson arriving in this world.
(caution, not for the easy stomach)

Jackson's first sight of daddy, and screaming get me outta here!

Post-op, Jackson is doing great and he filled out his paper work.

Us and our little man.

First time with Grandmas and Grandpas...

...and meeting his aunts and uncles.

The race is on, who is going to spoil him the most?

Everyone had a great time getting to know the newest memeber of the family, and getting to see him for the first time of many.

Stay tuned-in for more to come...

First Update

Okay, so it was a long day, and unfortunately it must come to end. It was the most amazing thing in the world to go from one second nothing, to the next our little man is here. He is out and doing great! We started this morning about 6:00 AM and got off to a good start, things were moving along just fine, but after many hours more had passed things weren't progressing any further, so Dr. Neal recommended a C-Section.

(Space for time going by)

Then an hour later, we had our 6 lb. 11.9 oz. man in our arms; well at least I did, Kim was still a little numb from the anesthesia. After that, we spent some time with just us and Jackson getting to know one another.
Then off to the nursery to be poked and proded and all cleaned. Jackson did great through almost the whole thing, he was a quite and calm little gentleman until they decided to stick him with a needle. He did not like this one bit and gave out one big yell, but then he quickly regained composure and was back to being calm. Then came the most horrorific ordeal of the whole day, The Thermometer! Jackson began to cry like no man should, and I don't blame him.

After all that and many guests, we are back in the room ready to try and get a good night's sleep! Jackson finely learned to feed, so after he gets a good meal, we will try to turn it in for at least an hour or two, hopefully!

Sorry, I don't have much time for a post, but here are some pics for now:

T-Minus One Week and Counting

Well, the time has almost come for us to meet our little man and we can barely hold in the excitment! We have set an appointment to be induced on the 4th of December. Dr. Neal says that Jackson is coming along great and due to Kim's size he does not want to have any complications and thinks that would be a great time to have a baby. November was a hectic month, hustling and bustling to get everything ready for Jackson, and on top of that trying to get everything ready for Christmas. We wanted to get everythig done so we can spend all of our time with Jackson as a new family when he arrives. His room is finally all ready, everything in its appropriate place, just missing one baby now!

Jackson's room minus Jackson.

We have been up and down the checklists making sure that we have everything we need and so far so good, now all we need is the Baby Owner's Manual that they give you at the hospital that tells you everything you need to know to be a parent. They do give those out, don't they?

The Countdown Begins

Only 10 weeks remain until we finally get to meet our baby boy!!! Everything is so exciting! Daddy began assembling the nursery furniture the day it arrived. The room color is a sage green and the theme will be Winnie-the-Pooh. It looks so sweet and peaceful. We are looking forward to this weekend for Jackson's first baby shower at his Aunt Heather and Uncle Chris's house.
